Rycon Logistics is a Johannesburg based logistics and transport provider operating on a national basis throughout South Africa. Leading in affordable transport focusing on both the commercial and private sectors with service delivery in plastics, furniture, appliances, bulk courier services, hardware, clothing, mining work and more. Our key to success is the trust of long-standing client relations and the highest regard for service excellence. Over the years the company has been the go-to company for affordable, personalised transport and logistics needs of many at a reasonable price without compromising on quality.
The company was founded by Mr Jayson Munisamy in 2005 under the name VRP Transport, he started his business with only one Hyundai bakkie, Jayson, driving himself with one assistant taking on any and all jobs within the market. Within a two-year period, he had more than doubled his capacity and bought two more bakkies.

He was then approached by another sole proprietor in the industry to form a partnership. Jayson made this decision in order to expand capacity, customer base and service offering. Over the years the business has evolved with Jayson having organically grown the business, with the highest levels of service delivery, exceptional turnaround times, hands-on management and a well-trained employee base.
In 2019 Jayson decided that it was time to take the business forward with a new, fresh and exciting direction by rebranding the business to Rycon Logistics. The strategy looking ahead was to build a legacy for his two young sons in years to come.
Over the many years of work in the logistics industry, the company has dealt with corporates such as Game, Dion, Cashbuild, Rochester Furniture and JD Group. These relationships grew because of the professional, reliable and efficient service provided that Rycon Logistics always strives for.
In his time running businesses in the logistics industry Jayson’s company has been recognised for the best transport service provider by many of their suppliers. Rycon Logistics has expanded its fleet and continues to grow the business by service offerings to other companies.
Jayson has always been an entrepreneur and has a passion for his business and the industry of logistics. Rycon is his pride and Jayson will continue building this business over the years to come leading by example and striving for perfection.
